Play has begun in the 2010 UAYSL winter league, with initial matches taking place over the weekend of January 9. Overall, 56 teams are taking part in the league's nine winter divisions, which include both boys' and girls' high-school divisions. In the high-school divisions, play is full-sided, but in accordance with national player-development recommendations, all other divisions feature small-sided games. The league runs through the last weekend in April, with summer (outdoor) UAYSL play slated to begin by the end of May.
