Safe Sport Training Course - Required for all Adults Participating with a Youth Team

All adults participating in any way with a youth team registered in any UAYSL league session is required by Alaska Youth Soccer to complete and pass their Safe Sport Training Course prior to any interaction with youth athletes.

This requirement includes, but is not limited to, team coaches, managers and adult volunteers in any capacity such as team treasurers or chaperones for team travel. If an adult is listed on the team roster and/or will be present in the team bench area at any time, that adult must complete and pass this training course prior to any interaction with youth athletes.

The online video course and test will take about 1.5 - 2 hours to view and complete. Please plan accordingly. Follow the steps below:

#1. Register for a current UAYSL league session as a team coach, manager, adult or volunteer. All registration events will be posted on the UAYSL website. In doing this you will activate the Safe Sport training option in your Stack Sports member account.

#2. Log in to your Stack Sports member account and click on the Safe Sport training link. View, complete and pass the online training. The course will take 1.5 - 2 hours so be prepared for that time frame. Once the course has been passed, it will show up in your member account and a certificate will be emailed directly to you. Safe Sport training can only be accessed through a Stack Sports member account and is free.
